Spanish I

Spanish I focuses on preparing students to communicate effectively in Spanish. Activities in this course include learning the culture(s) of Spanish-speaking people, participating in spontaneous spoken or written conversations about familiar or unfamiliar topics using sentences, understanding the main idea, some pieces of information, and possibly supporting details from sentences within texts that are spoken or written, and communicating information, making presentations, and expressing personal thoughts about familiar topics, using sentences through spoken or written language.
